Record last week ATS: 2–2

Well, I accurately called Wisconsin over Purdue and Miami covering NCST. Unfortunately, Clemson absolutely failed me and so did Iowa State. I’m a huge Okie State fan, so that one didn’t sting as bad. Nevertheless; we move on, and I think there’s some good lines out there this week.

Iowa(+2) at Wisconsin

I’m picking against Wisconsin this week, even after they won me some money last week. It just doesn’t make sense for an unranked Wisconsin to be favored over 9th ranked Iowa. I don’t see Iowa losing another game like this- they’re still a very good game. Take Iowa to outright win.

Rutgers(-1.5) at Illinois

Another line that screams “Vegas knows something”. Why would Rutgers be favored? Rutgers is terrible. Illinois isn’t good either, but they did just have a huge win over Penn State. They won’t do it again. I’m going with Vegas on this one and taking Rutgers. Illinois just isn’t good enough to win against a feisty Rutgers after an emotional win last week.

Texas(-2.5) at Baylor

Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Texas is performing below expectations this year. However, they’ve had a lot of bad luck this year and their offense has no problem scoring points. Baylor has a bad defense and they won’t be able to keep up on offense. Take Texas to win this by a TD.

Clemson(-9.5) vs Florida State

This isn’t the Clemson team you’re used to. The Tigers still have an elite defense but they have horrible QB play and no running game to speak of. Fortunately for Clemson, Florida State is just as disappointing and can’t be trusted to beat anybody. Clemson redeems themselves, if you can call it that.

I am not responsible for any money lost on my picks. I WILL take credit for any money won, however.
