Hoosiers For Good, the official NIL collective for Indiana, announced that they raised $1.3 million between November 14-December 31, 2022.

In addition to the $1.3 million raised, an anonymous donor pledged to match the amount raised, bringing the total to over $2.3 million.

Hoosiers For Good is headed by Tyler Harris, who resigned from his post as an associate athletic director at Indiana to head the collective. According to the company website, the purpose of Hoosiers For Good is “to raise awareness for charitable causes throughout Indiana — by partnering local charities with community-minded Hoosier student-athletes who choose to use their platform and influence to amplify the philanthropic work that helps our community thrive.”

After launching in March of 2022, Hoosiers for Good partnered with 11 Indiana basketball players and matched all of them with a local charity. The players received financial compensation while promoting and helping out the charities. Since this initial class, Hoosiers For Good has also partnered with over 100 Hoosier football players for a 3-month Stop The Violence Indianapolis campaign.

Harris is thrilled with the generosity of the Hoosier Faithful.

“The response and involvement of Hoosier fans throughout this campaign has been incredible,” said Executive Director of Hoosiers For Good and Hoosiers Connect Tyler Harris. “The funds raised are going to have a tremendous impact on Indiana charities and businesses, as well as IU student-athletes.”

The successful fundraiser is a positive sign for all those associated with Indiana athletics. If the NIL sect at Indiana continues to grow, the Hoosiers will have no problem attracting top talent and competing with the rest of the Big Ten.
