NFL: Conference Championship Predictions and Thoughts.
We have entered possibly the most exciting weekend of the football season: conference championship weekend.
In the AFC, we have the Cincinnati Bengals traveling to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. In the NFC, the 49ers are traveling to LA, again, to take on the Rams.
Now both of these matchups have already happened this year- the Bengals beat the Chiefs in a thriller that went down to the last second, and the 49ers actually defeated the Rams both times they met this season. It’s extremely hard to beat a team twice in the same season, but what about beating them three times?
Without further ado, let’s get into my predictions:
Bengals (+7) at Chiefs
Almost a month ago, the Bengals beat the Chiefs by a score of 34–31 in Cincinnati. This was arguably the best game of the NFL regular season, so it’s no surprise people are excited for Round 2.
I do think it’ll be difficult for the Bengals to win this game. Kansas City is one of the toughest places to play, and Mahomes and Crew will have plenty of motivation to win this game. I think KC will get points on the board early and Burrow and Co. will be playing from behind from the get-go.
