NFL WEEK 14 IN REVIEW
2 min readDec 14, 2021
Well, another week is in the books and we’re one week closer to being without football again.
Fortunately, my Titans still have a chance at landing the number one seed in the AFC. With the amount of injuries, (no NFL team has ever used as many different players as the 2021 Titans), it’s amazing that the team keeps finding ways to win games. Granted, this most recent win was against the lowly Jaguars, but a win is a win is a win.
Elsewhere around the league:
- Tom Brady is ageless. He’s the only QB I can ever recall who never hit that age where he just couldn’t play right anymore. Wouldn’t be shocked if the Bucs win another ring.
- The 2021 Jets might be one of the worst NFL teams ever. All the more embarrassing that the Titans lost to them.
- The 2021 Texans might be one of the worst NFL teams ever. All the more embarrassing that the Titans lost to them.
- The Raiders got absolutely embarrassed on the road in Kansas City. Unfortunately, it seems that Mahomes is “back”.
- Matt Rhule thought PJ Walker could run the offense better than Cam Newton. Walker proceeded to throw a pick immediately after replacing Newton. Matt Rhule will be somebody’s defensive line coach in 3 months.
- The Lions are terrible but probably still better than the Jags or Texans.
- Baker Mayfield clearly fades the Browns on a weekly basis.
- The Falcons or WFT might make the playoffs, and that’s unfortunate for everybody interested in watching.
- There’s currently a covid outbreak in the NFL. This leads to 2 possible scenarios: a large percentage of players are lying about being vaxxed, or the vax is not as effective at preventing spread as we’ve been led to believe. Do with that as you will.
