The Volunteer Club inks Tennessee athletes to NIL deals: ‘Best destination in the country’

The Volunteer Club continues to make a name for itself in the NIL sphere.

The Tennessee-focused collective, run by Spyre Sports Group, has reached deals with over 200 Tennessee student-athletes from 11 different sports. On Friday, the collective announced the signing of seven additional football players.

The collective has emphasized player retention this offseason. This latest batch of NIL deals features a few veterans as well as newcomers. Notably, The Volunteer Club was instrumental in keeping RB Jaylen Wright in Knoxville for one more season after securing a deal in January.

A prominent NIL collective has also proven helpful in the transfer portal. Tight end McCallan Castles just transferred to Tennessee from UC Davis and now has secured a NIL deal.
